DATATRONIC IDentsysteme: an independent company that has been working on radiofrequency technologies for more than 20 years and specialised in Radio Frequency IDentification RFID.
Datatronic is identified throughout Europe as a RFID company leader, its staff has strong radiofrequency background and high knowledge of all related things.
The company designs and develops products that integrate different technologies, such as RFID, barcodes or Bluetooth, designed to be applied to almost any kind of surface, included metal.
DATATRONIC IDentsysteme GmbH is involved in several research and development projects, funded by the Austrian government and the EU.
Examples of projects include:
TagTrans Project 822364 FFG - provides contactless data collection by RFID technology in LF, HF and UHF frequency band and contactless data transmission by use of BlueTooth. Through TagTrans one can read and write RFID data without investing in a expensive handheld Computer. Any Bluetooth device could be used to become a RFID reader. Other features are 2D Barcode reading and intrinsically design for use in hazardous environment.
- BlueTank IV2Splus-Transnational – project 825343 FFG - is a system for fully automatic identification and verification of cars and trucks during refuelling. BlueTank allows 24 hour unmanned service on petrol stations and almost total protection against misuse. BlueTank works with a cheap passive transponder on the car or truck or caterpillar and a RFID reader on the nozzl,e which works with Bluetooth connection to the tank station where the pump is switched only after authorisation from a host system.
- ELIES project - an EU initiative to define a user guide on how to use RFID in the complete supply chain of small and medium size companies, namely producers of electronic equipment. It is in partnership with Fraunhofer Institute in Germany and Austria. Other activities: design and development of UHF RFID tags, welding of UHF RFID tags to textiles, design and development of UHF large passages antenna systems, tests and evaluations.
